High-Five Campaign – Sep to Dec
God gives each child a unique handprint with five fingers and special talents to make a lasting impression on their community and the world. That is why we are launching the “High-Five” Campaign to encourage and support the children of Emmanuel Christian Academy. “High-Five” is a gesture that means “way to go” and celebrates their accomplishments no matter how large or small. With over two-thirds of our students living at or below poverty level, we have budgeted $90,000 this school year to help these students attend ECA. Prayers that Move God’s Hand
Prayer is at the foundation of Emmanuel Christian Academy. We emphasize the spiritual discipline of prayer. This photo is of Mrs. Vedetta Duncan's Kindergarten Class in their weekly prayer circle. Art Festival and Gallery
The slideshow (on next page) displays and features art and creative projects from "budding student artists" at Emmanuel. The pictures shown in the image were created for the Black History Celebration week. Each year, our students develop special artwork that conveys their personalities, gifts, and talents; and these are displayed in the hallways of our school for viewing. Students with the top artistic pieces and/or those with promising art talent, are selected to represent ECA at the ACSI Art Festival which is held annually by the Association of Christian Schools International.
